80 Things to do in Bali: the Ultimate Bucketlist

Mar 7, 2018 | 3 comments

Our extended trip to Bali gave us a chance to not only experience its sightseeing ‘A list’, but also the the B list, the C list and maybe even the D list. We’ve been up, down, left and right and thought it was about time that we put everything we’ve discovered down into a definitive list.

What you won’t find on this Bali bucket list:

To give you as much bang for your buck (so to speak), this list doesn’t include much about generic cafes, restaurants or hotels; only a few that we’ve actually been to that offer something a little bit out of the ordinary. It also isn’t padded with activities like ATV tours, underwater walks, jetboarding, or horse/camel rides, even though they’re all readily available. Finally, we also decided to skip any safari/zoo based activities in Bali, of which there are many. If you’re looking for any of those things to do in Bali, a quick google should point you in the right direction!

Tl;dr We wanted to skip all that and get straight to the good stuff that makes Bali unique!

So without any further ado, here are 80 incredible things to do in Bali: (links lead to other articles we’ve written)

I don’t see the Elephant Safari hotel in here and Inthibjnthats a miss. It’s an amazing place!

Thanks for the comment, Holly! We made a decision not to include any attractions that have animals because we’re simply not able to vouch that the animals are treated with appropriate care. As a result, we feel it’s better to not promote any of them and allow readers to carry out their own research (as mentioned at the start of the post!)

Btw, that’s not to say that the animals at the Elephant Safari Hotel aren’t treated well.. we just really have no idea and therefore feel like the correct default is to not promote unless shown evidence to the contrary.

Thanks again for your comment though, much appreciated!
